The holiday season is a beautiful time of year for those who enjoy apartment living in the south. In addition to decorating your apartment for the season, there is plenty to do in the areas surrounding your TriBridge neighborhood to make the most of this exciting season.
We’ve compiled a list of holiday activities around our Georgia, North and South Carolina communities. Stay tuned for a future post highlighting holiday happenings in Florida Tennessee and Texas.
Home for the Holidays in Georgia
Our Atlanta area residents can head over to Stone Mountain Park where the holidays are celebrated with zeal. From parades and the Singalong Train, to the Snow Angel Palace and storytime with Santa and Mrs. Claus, the whole family will be enthralled. Make sure you also take the time to visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden, where Garden Lights Holiday Nights provides a winter wonderland for all ages. For more information on holiday light displays, plays, music and more, check out Atlanta.net!
Ringing in the New Year in North Carolina?
If you live in one of our North Carolina communities, you’ll have plenty to keep you busy through New Year’s. The Ipreo Raleigh Winterfest has already geared up and will have seasonal activities from now through Feb. 7. Get those ice skates laced up and head to their seasonal outdoor rink, and make sure to attend the Grand Celebration on Dec. 7. The City of Durham has its own share of holiday events, which you can view on the Durham, N.C. Visitors website. We recommend the traditional Nutcracker Ballet or a New Year’s Day Hike. Both kids and adults can ring in the New Year with style at Noon Year’s Eve at Marbles Kids Museum by day, then the adults can make their way to the New Year’s Eve Black & White Ball by night.
Deck the halls in South Carolina
Our South Carolina residents can put the finishing touches on their holiday shopping at the Village Antiques and Collectibles Holiday Market. More information on this event, as well as upcoming holiday concerts and movie screenings can be found on the North Charleston website. Make sure you visit the Holiday Festival of Lights, which takes place through New Year’s Eve and features train rides, gingerbread house displays, gift shops, and of course, lights! Or, how about a Holiday Dinner Cruise on the Carolina Queen? To find a place to ring in 2014, check out the events page of the Charleston Area Convention & Visitors Bureau website.
