On Sunday, April 28th, the Atlanta Journal Constitution published their third annual Top 100 Workplaces list for the world to see. TriBridge was ranked as the 14th top mid-size business in Atlanta! This is our second year on the Top 100 list and we are excited to rejoin the ranks of so many outstanding companies that have been named on this list.

As The AJC puts it, “If you are listed on these pages, it’s a pretty big deal. And this publication has one purpose: To recognize and celebrate with these companies that should be considered the best metro Atlanta has to offer.”

The AJC’s Top Workplaces list is compiled by surveying the associates for various companies throughout the metro Atlanta area. This year, 1,200 companies competed for a coveted spot on their Top 100 list.

We were all very excited to receive this recognition. Here are how some of our team members responded to the big announcement.

From TriBridge’s Executive Managing Partner, Michael Tompkins, “Our commitment to our people and culture has been critical to our success. Thank you.”

One Service Manager agreed that TriBridge “[was] the best company [he had] ever worked for hands down.”

The Marketing Specialist, for which TriBridge is her first post-collegiate job, responded, “I’m just so honored to work for a Top 100! I knew I worked for an amazing company, and now we’ve been recognized by the AJC for it.”

Of course, part of what makes TriBridge such a great place to work at are all of our wonderful residents at our properties throughout the South; so we collectively want to say “Thank you!” for helping make our jobs so enjoyable!

How to Keep Your Children Safe this Halloween

Halloween is a great time for both children and adults. The kids get to dress up and get candy and the adults get to sit back and enjoy the parade of characters that come to their TriBridge apartment‘s door!

Pumpkin and Halloween Candy

Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Halloween is a lot of fun, but it’s very important that you talk to your kids and give them the tools they need to stay safe while out trick-or-treating.

  • Be sure that your kids have parental supervision unless they are definitely old enough to be out on their own. Even if they are going as a group, a couple of adults should still be with them.
  • Make sure your child has a flashlight, glow stick or reflective tape so they will be seen by cars.
  • Have your kids bring all the candy home before they eat any. This gives you a chance to check it over for any suspicious packaging or unwrapped treats.
  • Explain to them why they should not go into anybody’s house or get into a strangers car.

The Stress-Free Guide to Combining Two Households into One

Combing two Household doesn't have to be difficult.

Combining two households into one TriBridge apartment can be easy and enjoyable for both parties – whether you are new roommates or newlyweds! Organization and priorities are the keys. This Stress-Free Guide to Combining Two Households into One is simple, but will put you on track for success.

  1. Get organized! Go through each individual apartment and clean up and clear out everything that isn’t needed for the combined household. This should include removing items that have only taken up space but haven’t been used for long periods of time. Box up and secure keepsakes that will be stored, instead of displayed, and seriously consider dumping anything you don’t anticipate using within a month of the new move.
  2. Prioritize! Combining households means you may have two of some things, and just plain not enough room for others, so you have to decide which items are non-negotiable. If you have two sofas, donate the one you won’t be taking well before your move.
  3. Yard Sale! Organizing and prioritizing will uncover some unwanted items that can be sold at yard sale.

Why is Renting a TriBridge Apartment Better than Owning?

Though some may try to convince you to make the plunge into becoming a homeowner, you may be surprised to learn that you’re actually better off staying here in your TriBridge apartment. Though both renting and owning come with their own perks and drawbacks, the advantages of renting are far more appealing. Here are the top reasons why renting your TriBridge apartment is a smart move.

20 dollar bills money

Saving money on maintenance is just one of the reasons renting is better than buying!

1. No Maintenance Costs - Owning your home comes with a lot of responsibility. Everything from backed-up plumbing to broken-down washers and dryers will all fall to you. When you rent, however, all you have to do is make a simple phone call to your landlord and the problem will be fixed at no added cost to you.

2. The High Life - Renters can typically afford to live somewhere nicer than homeowners are able to.  Plus you can count on luxurious amenities when you choose to live in an apartment community.

3. Lower Insurance Fees - You’ll save even more money when you rent because the cost of renter’s insurance is far less expensive than homeowner’s insurance.
